Rules of Apollo Archerbox
1. Objective
Enter the golden temple of Apollo. Throw lightning bolts at the sun-disk target and score as many points as you can. The game continues as long as you throw in time. Once the timer expires, the game is over.
2. Controls
- Phone & tablet: tap the game field.
- Desktop: click the field, or press Space or Enter.
- One tap equals one throw. The bolt strikes where the crosshair was at the moment of your tap. No dragging needed.
3. Target & Scoring
The target has five zones. The closer to the centre, the more points.

A miss outside the target scores 0 but does not end the game. A streak of misses, however, eats into your time because the timer keeps running.
4. Combo
Every hit in a zone worth 50 points or more extends your streak. Starting from the second consecutive hit, points are multiplied: ×1.5, then ×2, ×2.5 and so on up to ×5. A hit in a weaker zone (10 or 25) or a miss resets the streak.
5. Timer & Acceleration
Each throw has a time limit. With every throw the limit shrinks and the crosshair moves faster. The short bolt animation between throws does not count towards the timer.
Formulas: t(n) = max(T_MIN, T_START × Kn) and v(n) = min(V_MAX, V_START × (1/K)n), where n is the number of throws already made. Current values:

The crosshair takes a new trajectory each time: circle, figure-eight or wave.
6. What Happens When You Lose
If the timer reaches zero before you tap, the game is over. A result screen appears with your score, your record and a "Play Again" button. During the last second, the timer bar pulses and a warning sound plays.

Registration is optional: the window appears on entry and can be closed to play as a guest. Your profile is created only in your browser. There is no server account at this time; the "My Top Scores" list shows only your games on this device. If you clear your browser data, the profile and records are lost.
8. Fair Play
Auto-clickers, scripts and other automation tools are prohibited, as is modifying the game code. See the Terms of Service for details. Points are virtual, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for prizes.
